High Sierra Sport Company (HSSC) recently announced an agreement with the United States Ski &
Snowboard Association to become an official supplier to the U.S. Ski Team. The two-year agreement,
calls for HSSC to produce customized backpacks, boot bags and wheeled duffels for the athletes,
whose rigorous travel schedule requires durable, efficient and easy to use luggage.
"We are excited to have High Sierra as the official supplier and licensee to the U.S. Ski Team,"
said Juliann Fritz, U.S. Ski Team Public Relations Director. The partnership will help the athletes
by supplying them with reliable bags for traveling as well as generating funds for the Team through
retail sales that support the training and competition programs of U.S. Ski Team especially as we
strive for gold."
HSSC is producing a limited quantity of these bags for consumers, which will be available at ski
shops this fall. In addition, all HSSC bags will carry a hang tag stating that HSSC is the official
bag supplier to the U.S. Ski Team.
