To determine your
torso length, measure the distance between the C7 vertebrae
and the
top of
the hip bone. Write down the measurement- this
is your Torso Fit number. Use the sizing charts below to
choose a pack that will best fit your body type.
1. Loosen
all webbing, straps, and load lifters. Place a moderate load
inside the pack. Then, put the pack on by
positioning the hip belt over your hip bones. Center the hipbelt
along your hip bones, then fasten and tighten it until it is
snug.
2. Next,
tighten the shoulder straps. Adjust the straps so the pack
is held to your back, maintaining the weight of the load on the
hips.
The shoulder straps should contour around the shoulder. Adjust
the
load lifter straps to an approximate 45-degree angle.
3. If
there is too much space between the shoulders and the back panel
of the pack, use our Ergo-Fit™ Shoulder Strap Adjustment
System to adjust the pack according
to your torso
setting. Simply lift the Ergo-Fit strap,
raise or lower the shoulder straps according to your needs,
then refasten the Ergo-Fit strap to the hook and loop closure
on the back panel to secure.
